Twila Tanner was a tough, plain-spoken highway worker who became the engine of Vanuatu's late game. She won immunity when she needed it and helped run the alliance that picked off the bigger threats, reaching the final two on a loyal, hard-nosed game.
A promise she swore on the Bible and then broke followed her to the end, and the jury handed it to Chris Daugherty 5-2. Still one of the grittiest runner-up runs of the early seasons.
