Chris Daugherty pulled off one of the great solo escapes in Survivor history. In Vanuatu's men-versus-women format, he ended up the very last man standing, stranded against a six-woman alliance with no numbers and no obvious way out.
So he made one. He worked every crack in the women's alliance, won the immunities he had to, and flipped the whole thing on its head, talking his way to the end and winning 5-2. A road-construction worker from Ohio who out-maneuvered a tribe that had him cornered.
