Spencer Duhm was a teenage superfan living the dream in Tocantins — at the time one of the youngest castaways ever, an openly gay college kid who knew the game cold and landed on the strong Jalapao tribe alongside eventual winner J.T. Thomas. His encyclopedic fandom made him a joy to watch, even if it couldn't buy him security.
As the obvious swing vote and youngest number, he was the expendable one when Jalapao had to trim, voted out in twelfth. A passionate fan who got to play the game he loved, if only for a while.
