Episode 7 of Survivor 45 was a split-Tribal double, and Sifu Alsup pulled the short straw of going second. The first Tribal opened the jury by blindsiding Kaleb Gebrewold — fresh off the Shot in the Dark that drew SAFE and erased eleven votes against him a week earlier — which sucked all the air out of the room before Sifu's name ever came up. By the second Tribal there was no scramble left to join: he got caught on the wrong side of the numbers and went out twelfth, the last boot before the jury. Sifu brought a martial artist's quiet to a merge a Reba bloc was already running — calm reads and a relationship-first game, which is a lovely way to play right up until the numbers harden and nobody you trust has the votes. He never got handed the one move that might've made him more than a name on the wrong side of a double.
