Kristina dug up Ometepe's hidden idol almost immediately and tried to rally the bottom of the tribe to take a shot at Rob at the very first Tribal — which, in a returnee season Rob was running like a machine, is the boldest open you can ask for. Trouble is, the votes weren't there. Rob held the line, and Francesca went out first instead.
And that was the read of the season, played about three weeks too soon. Once Rob clocked her as the one person willing to move on him, she had the biggest target on the tribe. Ometepe lost again and shipped her to Redemption Island in sixteenth, where Matt Elrod — on the duel streak of a lifetime — beat her in the duel to end her run for good. Her game is easy to respect: she saw exactly what Rob was before anyone else would touch it — she just couldn't get a single soul to follow her there.
