By the Survivor 45 merge there was a wall the Belo outsiders kept running into, and it had four names on it: Dee, Austin, Drew, and Julie, the Reba Four quietly running the whole board. Kendra McQuarrie read that math as clearly as anyone, but reading it and cracking it were two different things, and idols and advantages floated around the edges without ever moving a single vote.
So Belo got peeled off one at a time. Kellie went the week before, and then Kendra was simply the next name up, voted out to the jury ninth as Reba's grip only tightened. She didn't misplay it and she didn't miss a swing; the crack to pry that four apart just never opened, and by the time anyone found one she was already in the jury box watching.
