She had the read, she had the social game, she even grabbed an individual immunity once the merge went solo — none of it mattered against the Reba machine on Survivor 45. Kellie Nalbandian came over from Belo into a merged tribe where Dee, Austin, Drew, and Julie were quietly four-deep and just grinding their numbers, and being good wasn't going to crack that.

The night she went out, Jake O'Kane took a Shot in the Dark and pulled up an empty scroll, so there was no safety net in the room when the Rebas read her name and blindsided her tenth, the second juror as their bloc rolled right along. Honestly, she's the slept-on casualty of that season: a sharp player who never got a vote to swing because the math was locked before she ever sat down at Tribal.
