In Micronesia, the young, athletic Fan rode an immunity tear to the final five as the last man standing against the all-female 'Black Widow Brigade' — then let them talk him into handing his immunity necklace to Natalie Bolton as a gesture of good faith. They thanked him by voting him out on the spot.
It overshadowed a genuinely strong physical game, and Caramoan gave him a chance to rewrite the story. He found an idol, won immunity, and clawed back to the final five again — only for low blood pressure to force a medical evacuation, ending his game in fifth for the second time. The necklace will always come first, but Erik was a far better player than that one moment suggests.
