On the night Shamar's eye injury pulled him from the game, the plan was to send Reynold home — until he dug up a hidden idol and played it at Tribal, voiding every vote with his name on it. The majority needed a new target on the fly, and Laura was the closest one standing. She went out sixteenth, collateral damage from a Hidden Immunity Idol meant to bury someone else. Brutal way to go: not outplayed, just standing in the splash zone when the idol came down.
