Forced to actually cut somebody, Tom Westman and the rest looked around their stacked roster and decided the older Willard had become their weakest link, and he went out fourteenth — the only castaway Koror would lose the entire season. Wrong place, wrong tribe: on a group this loaded, being the steady older vet just made him the easiest name to write down the one day they couldn't dodge a vote.
