Edgardo got handed the keys to the swap, drawing up half the new tribes in a schoolyard pick alongside Earl. Out of that chaos came the Four Horsemen, the young-guys' bloc he ran with Alex, Mookie, and Dreamz, and the Miami ad man carried strong challenge play and the alliance's hidden idol clean into the merge. As far as he knew, he was set.
What he didn't see was Dreamz doing the math. The fourth Horseman was sick of being last in line, and the day Alex and Mookie dug up the second idol and hid it even from him, that was the crack. Dreamz quietly took the numbers to Earl and Yau-Man, the bloc never blinked, and Edgardo went out ninth as the fourth juror — pegged as the guy least likely to bother with an idol, so they wrote him down. The flip that sank the Horsemen also tipped the whole season to Earl, and Edgardo's the name on it.
