Out of the Fiji tribe swap came a four-man young-guys' bloc that named itself the Four Horsemen — Alex, Mookie, Edgardo, and Dreamz — and the Harvard Law grad fancied himself the brains of it. When he and Mookie dug up the second hidden idol, they hid it even from Dreamz, their own Horseman. Cute power play. It was also the crack that sank them.
Dreamz, parked at the bottom of his own alliance, did the math and flipped to Earl and Yau-Man, and Edgardo got blindsided the next vote. With the numbers gone, the panicked Horsemen badly misread Tribal, and Alex played that idol on himself — when he was never the one in danger. Wasted it for nothing; Mookie went home anyway. That left Alex the last Horseman standing, hunting for a crack in Earl's group that didn't exist, and he was voted out seventh. One of the all-time self-inflicted idol blunders, from the guy who thought he was running the season.
