Carter Williams was the quiet workhorse of Philippines — a track-and-field coach whose understated personality belied real challenge ability. On the rebuilt Kalabaw tribe he stayed out of the line of fire, then turned it on when it counted, winning back-to-back individual immunities late to keep himself alive deep into a stacked season.
Once he couldn't keep the necklace, though, the numbers caught up and he was voted out in sixth. A low-key, physically gifted player who let his challenge results do the talking.
