Lavo spent two straight Tribals as a war zone, and Sol Yi was one of the two guys lighting it. His grudge with Rome Cooney split the tribe down the middle so badly that Rome got jumpy and burned a hidden idol on a night no votes were even coming his way, while Genevieve Mushaluk slipped into the cracks and quietly ran the actual board around both of them. Sol won the feud, at least — he outlasted his rival, who got torched at the very first merge Tribal.
Then the early chaos came due. The merge hit on Day 12, the earliest in show history, and every loud Lavo personality turned into a free target the second the game went individual. Sol got stuck on the wrong side of the math and never pried it back; when the names came up he couldn't pull a single vote his way, and he was blindsided 8-1, out tenth as second juror. Winning the Rome war and still leaving in a near-total landslide — that's the trouble with being one half of the messiest feud on the beach. Everybody remembers you were in it.
