The nurse practitioner who kept Nakúm patched up through Guatemala's brutal eleven-mile opening trek, Margaret Bobonich was the steady older hand on a season built to grind people down. Trouble was, steady doesn't pull you into the alliance that matters once the pre-merge gets cutthroat — and Nakúm's emerging core didn't have a chair saved for her.
Her exit came on the weirdest night of the run: a surprise double Tribal Council, two tribes voting at once. The headline belonged to Rafe Judkins, who won individual immunity and then quietly slipped it across to Gary Hogeboom on the rival tribe — and in the noise of all that, Margaret got sent out of Nakúm while Yaxhá dumped Brian Corridan the same evening. She went out thirteenth, a few days shy of the merge, the kind of pre-merge boot whose whole season is somebody else's twist. Forgettable to the game, sure, but I'll give her this: nobody on that tribe wanted to do the eleven-mile hike without their nurse.
