Lauren Beck, a nanny, was a core member of the original-Vokai alliance with eventual winner Tommy Sheehan, a low-key strategist who reached the endgame without drawing much fire. She earned a two-Tribal idol from the Island of the Idols and played it at the final nine.
She won an individual immunity at the final seven, but at the final four she lost the mandatory fire-making duel to Dean Kowalski and was eliminated one step short of the Final Tribal Council.
