Joe Del Campo, a retired FBI agent and at 72 the oldest player of his season, was a quiet, trusted presence on Kaôh Rōng's Brains tribe who rode the Aubry–Cydney–Michele alliance deep into the game.
His run ended cruelly at the final five: he won an individual reward feast, and the rich food caused a medical emergency that forced the doctors to pull him on Day 34, one stop short of a fire-making shot at the end. He took his place on the jury and voted for runner-up Aubry Bracco.
