Hunter McKnight was the guy the whole Survivor 46 cast couldn't stop talking about — the science teacher with the abs and the challenge resume, the Nami threat everyone agreed had to go before he ran the back half. He won an individual immunity, sat dead center of every plan, and carried a hidden idol he never got the chance to use.
When the tribe finally lined up its shot, the first vote tied him 4-4 with Q Burdette and forced a revote nobody felt safe walking into. On the do-over the names fell on Hunter, and he went to the jury ninth with that idol still in his pocket — one more name on Survivor 46's record run of players leaving without ever playing the idol they were holding. For all the threat talk, that's the gut-punch: the most physically dominant player of the season had the tool to save himself and never reached for it.
