The story

Bret LaBelle, a decorated Boston police sergeant, hid his badge behind a 'funeral director' cover story for much of Millennials vs. Gen X, finally coming clean in a warm late-game bonding moment with David Wright. He anchored the Gen-X bloc and tied himself to Jay and the David–Ken core.

As one of the last Gen-Xers standing, he reached the final five before the Adam–Hannah–Ken–David alliance blindsided him on Day 37. He took a jury seat and voted for the eventual winner, Adam Klein.
